With my wife Carol I have sailed more than 50,000 miles, including six Atlantic crossings, always in multihulls. We race 8’ El Toro dinghies, and keep a fleet of kayaks, daysailers, and a motor launch.
Though I have built a number of fiberglass boats by various techniques, and wooden boats by nearly every technique, plywood seems to be the best material for most pleasure craft, especially for amateur builders. All the plans shown here are for plywood boats.
