US SAILING - National Governing Body of Sailing in the U.S.
US SAILING was originally organized as the North American Yacht Racing Union (NAYRU) on October 30, 1897. As the National Governing Body for the sport of sailing, US SAILING's mission is to provide leadership for the sport of sailing in the United States. The organization works to achieve this mission through a wide range of programs and events, geared towards providing an equal level playing field for all sailors.
For sailors of any age getting out on the water for the first time to sailors who dream about their passion for being out on the water every day, US SAILING sets the course enabling sailors to enjoy the sport for a lifetime.

Three Tree Point Yacht Club
Three Tree Point YC was founded by several avid boating fans who lived on (or near) Three Tree Point, west of Burien WA, on Puget Sound. They organized early in 1969, and formally incorporated as a nonprofit organization on May 20, 1969. The club has thrived since, with an average annual active membership exceeding 100 members. With a strong commitment to the belief that activities should be on the water and that existing shore facilities can provide an adequate operations base, the club's "home-base" is Anthony's Home-Port Restaurant in Des Moines, WA, where a handsome trophy case is located in the main upstairs lobby, containing the Club's many outstanding perpetual trophies for various events

Swinomish Yacht Club
The Swinomish Yacht Club has been in existence for over sixty years. We are located in the sunny town of LaConner, Washington. Our dock is on the Swinomish Channel and offers over 150 feet of moorage with water and power year round. The Clubhouse (which is available for rental) and reciprocal dock are within easy walking distance of the city. In LaConner, there are many unusual shops, boutiques, art galleries, museums and many very fine restaurants and hotel accommodations. Because of this excellent location, boaters find the Swinomish Yacht Club a haven when traveling between the lower Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands.

South Sound Sailing Society
The South Sound Sailing Society is a group of the area folks who share a love for sailing. It was founded 38 years ago and has grown to a group of about 200 families and single people who enjoy the camaraderie of meeting, racing, and cruising together.
The club is a member of PHRF of the NW, PIYA, and the USSA. We are the home of the Budd Inlet Star Fleet, a ISCYRA member fleet.
Some of us race, some cruise, and some of us can’t get enough of either.

From its very beginning in 1961, Shilshole Bay Yacht Club has emphasized participation and informality. Seattle Yacht Club
Established in September 1892, the original clubhouse was located on Elliott Bay and was moved to its present location on Portage Bay in 1920. Since that time, membership has grown to approximately 3,000. Today, permanent moorage is provided to members at the Portage Bay main facility and two piers at Elliott Bay, where the club also has a facility shoreside for members' enjoyment.

Seattle Singles Yacht Club
SSYC is a nonprofit organization where single adults enjoy boating and other social activities.SSYC is a place where skippers find crew, and people who want to become crew find boats. All levels are welcome, from experienced boat owners to novice crew eager to learn, and every skill level in-between. Boats owned by our skippers include a variety of sailboats, catamarans and powerboats.
The average age is probably mid 50's. The age range is from 30-70 (Though you'd swear most of us were much younger than that). Some people come straight from work and others come dressed casual. We do have a few dances each year that are dressier.

San Juan Island Yacht Club
Founded in 1964, the San Juan Island Yacht Club's membership has grown to over 300 active boaters. Our clubhouse is located above the Port of Friday Harbor, 273 Front Street, and is a full service facility with large meeting room, bar and kitchen facilities. The San Juan Island Yacht Club is a cruising club. Our members travel as far north as Glacier Bay and south to the Gulf of California. We sponsor 10 to 12 local cruises each year along with major racing events, the Shaw Island Classic among others. Additionally sailors are invited to participate in the One Design series.

Roche Harbor Yacht Club
RHYC, is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Washington, having celebrated our centennial in 2006. We are a very active cruising yacht club, with approximately 200 members. Most members reside in the western Washington, with a few from other states as far away as Texas and New Jersey!

Puget Sound Yacht Club
The Club is located in Seattle on the north shore of Lake Union near Gas Works Park overlooking the lake with a dock for visiting and reciprocal moorage.
Puget Sound Yacht Club was founded in 1954 and has continued as a family oriented cruising club. The membership is made up of friendly informal individuals who value safe boating and wish to share their boating experiences with other boaters. The majority of boats in the Club are small to medium size power boats but there are a number of sail boats in the fleet and the Club welcomes new members with all types and sizes of water craft.
